The Opportunity Card

One screen per deal holding the contact, the estimate, the stage checklist, the permit answer, the messages, the notes and the tasks.

What it is

Opening a card gives a multi-column workspace: quick nav to Contact and Estimate, stage and editable value, permit check, the stage protocol checklist inline, building type and lead strength grades, the lead form answers, the contact block with call, text and email, notes, tasks, the message thread, the estimate link, quick actions and materials.

The full card modal at desktop width showing the masonry columns: contact, protocol checklist, permit panel, notes and messages. The real screen, drawn from the product’s own design system. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1The open card stays pinned to the same lead across board rebuilds by job id, then CRM contact id, then name
  2. 2Everything reads and writes against the same canonical opportunity or lead row
  3. 3The layout is a multi-column masonry on desktop that stacks on a phone
  4. 4The card is also the deep-link target, so its address can be shared
Why we built it

The stage checklist used to live in a window of its own, so working a deal meant opening the card, opening a second thing to see what to do, closing it, and going back. Everything a rep needs now sits on one screen: the contact, the estimate, the stage checklist, the permit answer, the message thread, the notes and the tasks. The customer's conversation opens expanded rather than collapsed, because having the chat right there when the card opens is the reason for putting it there at all.

The problem
  • Deal context scattered across tabs
  • Reps leaving the deal to send a text and losing their place
  • No single place a manager can review a deal

What you get
Work the whole deal without leaving the card
Every rep sees the same complete picture
Shareable as a link to a teammate
What's inside
Text and Email From the Deal
The customer's text and email thread lives on the deal, so a rep answers without leaving the card.
Notes With Camera Photos
Rich-text notes on the deal with a camera button, because builders photograph the page they wrote on instead of retyping it.
Linked Estimate vs Possible Match
A deal only shows an estimate as attached when someone actually attached it; anything fuzzy is offered as a suggestion you have to accept.
One Price Per Building
When a deal has an estimate, that estimate's total is the number everywhere — card face, card modal, column total and board total.
Merge Two Cards for the Same Person
Pick the card to keep from a searchable list; the other card's estimate, value, contact details, notes and tasks fold into it and it disappears.
Mark Won or Lost
Record the outcome and the moment it was decided without moving the card out of the stage where it died.
Remove From Pipeline That Actually Sticks
Removing a card deletes the canonical row and records permanent markers so no sync, poll or auto-linker can resurrect it.

See it on your own jobs

Twenty minutes, your numbers, no slide deck. We’ll build one of your real buildings in front of you and send you the estimate link at the end — yours to keep either way.
