A formatting toolbar, Notion-style shortcuts, searchable notes, inline editing, and two photo doors: Camera opens the native camera inside the mobile app shell — an in-page viewfinder in browsers — and Browse opens the library picker. Up to six shots at once. Tapping a photo in a note opens it full size.
Also called: job notes · photograph my notes · site notes · attach photo to a lead
- 1The image lands where the caret was, not at the top, because the toolbar click restores the saved selection first
- 2Uploads run through the shared media pipeline so the image standard applies and the cross-tenant guard runs
- 3The note-photo placement turns cropping off
- 4Alt text drives the stored filename so a note photo is findable by who it belongs to
Builders take notes on site on paper and photograph the page rather than retyping it, so a notes field that only accepted typing meant those notes never reached the system. Notes now take rich text and camera photos together. Cropping is deliberately switched off, because cropping a photographed page of handwriting cuts off the writing that was the entire reason for the photo, and several shots are supported because a page of notes is usually two pages. The camera opens directly rather than through a file picker, which does nothing at all inside the mobile app.
- Handwritten site notes never reaching the deal record
- A camera button that silently fails inside the mobile app
- Cropping cutting the writing off a photographed page
