A next-action field on every card: a description, a due date and time, and any combination of delivery channels. The card face shows 'Next: …' with the due date, and a red pulsing pip when it is overdue. A scheduled job delivers the message back to the rep at the due moment. Suggested actions are generated from the stage's own checklist.
Also called: remind me to follow up · set a reminder on a lead · callback reminder · text me a reminder
- 1Setting or resetting a reminder re-arms it so the job delivers the new one
- 2Enabling push registers the service worker and asks permission first; the channel is only added if that succeeds
- 3Suggestions come from the stage's protocol steps, skipping completion markers and any step already ticked
- 4Overdue next actions drive the Overdue First sort and the Next action overdue filter chip
The card offered the same four generic suggestions to every deal — call them, send the estimate — including to a deal sitting in Contract Sent, whose real next moves are confirming receipt and chasing a signature. The platform already writes down what a rep does at each stage, so the suggestions are now derived from that stage's checklist rather than kept as a second list that drifts the moment the checklist changes. Steps already ticked are filtered out, because offering make first contact to someone who just marked first contact done reads as not listening. Reminders arrive by text, email, push or in-app, and push is only offered once the browser has actually granted permission.
- Follow-ups living in a rep's head
- Generic reminder presets irrelevant to the current stage
- Push reminders promised but never delivered
