Sort every stage by manual order, highest or lowest value, A-Z, newest or oldest estimate, start date, due date, next action soonest, or overdue first. Overdue-first puts every past-due next action at the top of each stage, then orders the rest by soonest due.
Also called: sort pipeline · overdue first · highest value first · sort by next action
- 1Money values parse from strings like $25,000, $45K and $1.2M for comparison
- 2Cards with no next action sort last rather than first
- 3Dropping a card while a sort is active writes the sorted order into the underlying columns and returns to manual order
- 4Sort applies per stage, not across the whole board
A board you can only order by hand becomes a wall the moment one stage holds more than a screenful, and the deal that needed a call today sits wherever somebody last dropped it. Ten sort modes now include Overdue First and Next Action Soonest, which read the next action each deal already carries — data that was being written and never used. Dragging a card while a sort is active bakes that order in, so a rep's rearrangement survives the sort being switched off.
- No way to triage a large stage
- Overdue follow-ups invisible among current ones
- Reordering being lost when a sort is on
