An audit-grade per-lead lifecycle view reconstructed from the transition log. Each stage visit shows when it started and ended, dwell time, who moved it, and the work recorded during that visit — completed steps with their exact times, plus steps that were offered and skipped. For a bare lead with no estimate it still shows total age and current-stage time, and says so.
Also called: deal history · how long did this take · stage history · activity log
- 1Visits are reconstructed from the transition rows; the checklist state comes from the snapshot taken on exit and live state for the current stage
- 2Step labels resolve through current checklists, then the builder's custom checklists, then a retired-label table
- 3Steps recorded under a different stage's checklist are captioned as such rather than misread as that stage's process
- 4One component, two mounts: the modal over a pipeline card and the Timeline panel in Contacts
The deal card and the contact record each built their own version of a lead's history from different events, so the same lead read one way on the board and another way in contacts — and the contacts version was the weaker of the two. Both now render from the same lifecycle record: every stage visited with exact enter and leave times, who moved it, how long it sat, and which checklist steps got done. Because it is one source, the two views cannot drift apart again.
- Two activity views telling different stories
- No measurable dwell time per stage
- Historical step labels rendering as raw keys after a process change
