Show or hide a version from the customer

Each sent version has a toggle deciding whether the customer can see it, changeable at any time from the Versions modal.

What it is

A per-version flag on customer-facing send versions. Sent versions default to visible; raw internal sync versions are never eligible, and the portal will not render a version lacking a customer-facing payload.

Also called: hide that revision · customer visible toggle · don't show them that quote

How it works
  1. 1Toggle 'Show/Hide to customer' on any sent version.
  2. 2The portal resolves only among customer-visible send versions.
  3. 3Internal sync versions stay invisible to the customer regardless of the flag.
Why we built it

Not every version a job accumulates is a document you want a customer reading — internal revisions and pre-markup snapshots among them. Each sent version has a switch deciding whether the customer can see it, changeable at any time, while pre-markup snapshots are kept out of their view outright.

The problem
  • A superseded quote staying visible to a customer with no way to withdraw it
Sound familiar?
What you get
Control exactly which quotes the buyer can see
Internal versions can never be exposed
