A chained wipe of the three marker-scoped data sets, followed by a purge of the browser's cached copies and a reload, so no screen keeps showing rows that no longer exist.
Also called: remove all dummy data · wipe the test data · start fresh before go live
- 1Runs clear-seed (test-*), remove-demo-data (demo-*) and reset-imported-leads in order, collecting any errors
- 2Each only touches its own tagged rows — invited team, manual contacts, real estimates, zones and settings are left completely untouched
- 3Then clears the data-shaped local storage keys (preserving sign-in) and hard-reloads so every view re-fetches
Deleting practice data used to leave it on screen: the records were gone, but Team, Contacts and the pipeline were each still showing their own held copy, so a builder who had just cleaned up still saw fake names on their board and reasonably decided the delete had failed. One button removes every piece of practice data — test rows, demo rows and imported leads — and refreshes every screen so it is visibly gone.
- Practice data surviving in cached views after deletion
- Going live with a board full of training leftovers
