Two ways to change the end date

Setting a new end date either slides the whole job or stretches the last stage — and it tells you which before you pick.

What it is

Two explicit modes: 'Shift Entire Timeline' keeps the job the same length and moves the start with it; 'Adjust Final Stage' keeps the start where it is and lengthens or shortens the last stage. The description above the picker changes with the selected mode.

Why we built it

There are two ways to change an end date and they do opposite things to the start: one holds the start and stretches the job, the other slides the whole thing forward. They were previously distinguishable only by their names. A builder picked the wrong one, watched his start date fly back to May, and reasonably concluded he was doing something wrong. Each option now states what it will do to the other end of the job before it does it.
