Phone & Texting settings

Everything about this company's phone in one tab — channel status, the numbers and who owns each line, carrier registration, call trust, and phone costs.

What it is

The tenant-side phone channel tab: a status strip for texting and calls plus carrier approval, the phone numbers table with per-line ownership and routing, the carrier registration wizard with its live approval pipeline, call-trust products, and usage broken down per line with the rate card behind an info control.

The Phone & Texting tab: status strip, phone numbers table, then the collapsed Usage & costs section with its ⓘ. PhoneChannelTab.tsx. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1One pricing payload carries rates, registration status, usage and per-line phone details.
  2. 2The numbers table pairs 'Belongs to' and 'Calls go to' as one act.
  3. 3Usage & costs is a single collapsed section; its header carries an ⓘ that opens the rate table, and each rate's conditions open on top of that.
Why we built it

Recorded as with the failure it replaced: 'Previously these were spread across a blended Channels hub whose rate table mixed email and phone pricing, so a builder asking what does texting cost me? had to read past email rows to find out.' The progressive disclosure of rates is 'a whole pricing section on the page made the phone tab feel like a bill before anyone had sent a text.'

The problem
  • Phone and email settings and pricing were mixed in one hub.
  • Rate tables dominated the page before anyone had used the channel.
