The same five-category grouping is used in the per-person editor and in the preset editor. Navigation covers which screens appear; Actions covers editing and sending; Customer Documents covers contracts, change orders and invoices; Stage Controls covers the granular field abilities; Admin covers deleting, managing users, building plans, inviting and cross-crew visibility.

- 1PERM_CATEGORIES declares each category and the permission keys inside it.
- 2PERM_LABELS gives every key a human label such as 'My Work (field log)' or 'Edit Stage Details & Landmarks'.
- 3Stage-specific keys also carry short descriptions used in the settings UI (STAGE_PERM_LABELS).
Thirty boolean flags in one column is unreadable, and the decisions an owner actually makes cluster: what screens does this person see, what can they change, can they see money documents, what can they do in the field, and are they trusted with admin. The grouping is duplicated in the presets tab so both editors speak the same vocabulary.
