Every text and call records which of your own numbers carried it, so usage can be read per line rather than only per account.

What it is

A line stamp on every metered send and call. Texts record the rep's own line or the main line; calls record the business number that was on the call.

How it works
  1. 1The line is resolved on the send path — the same choice the adapter makes — so usage matches what actually happened
  2. 2Call metering stamps the business number from the call record
  3. 3Email rows carry no line, which is correct
Why we built it

Once each rep has their own number, an account-level total stops answering the question an owner actually asks — which line is running up the bill, and is the sales line getting the traffic it should be. A single monthly figure hides all of it. Every text and call now records which of the account's numbers carried it, so usage reads per line as well as per account.
