Swipe between draws on one job

Inside an invoice from a payment schedule, swipe left or right to move through the job's other draws, each with its own accent colour.

What it is

The viewer loads the sibling invoices sharing the same project and estimate job and carrying a stage index, sorts them into the natural payment order, and lets you move between them by swipe or chevron. Each stage index gets a subtle tint so it is visually obvious you switched.

Mid-swipe on a phone: the invoice sliding, a tinted circular chevron and the label 'Delivery (60%)' floating over it. src/components/invoices/InvoiceViewer.tsx. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Siblings are fetched once when the viewer opens and sorted ascending by payment_stage_index.
  2. 2A horizontal drag shows a live cue — a coloured chevron and the target stage's label — before it commits.
  3. 3A quick tap closes; press-and-hold does nothing so text selection and scrolling still work.
  4. 4Closing reports which invoice you exited on, so the list can flash the right row.
Why we built it

Switching between stages of a schedule changed almost nothing on screen — same header, same layout, only the number moved — so it was easy to edit the wrong draw. Each stage now carries its own accent colour, which makes the switch visible. Closing the panel on a phone also used to fire straight through to the row underneath and reopen it, so the whole thing felt stuck; the close now waits for the tap to finish.

The problem
  • Backing out to the list to look at the next draw on the same job.
  • Losing track of which stage you were looking at.
  • A tap-close reopening the row underneath.
