Find the four sheets of trim in a 1,400-line order

Search by name, SKU or length, filter by estimate section with live counts, or show only the lines with a problem.

What it is

A sticky toolbar above the line items. A search box (cleared by one tap or Escape), category chips that carry their own count and disable when empty, and an 'Only problems' toggle. Lines stay grouped by estimate section under sticky headings — framing, then sheathing, then trim.

How it works

Why we built it

'Finding four sheets of trim in a 1,400-line order by scrolling is the job this removes. Search first, filter second, grouping always.' The chip-count rule has its own note: 'Counted against the search and problems filters but NOT against the selected category — otherwise picking Framing would zero every other chip and you could no longer see where to go next.' And the clear button: 'Clearing a search should be one tap, not a held backspace.' Grouping mirrors the estimate 'because that is how a builder thinks about a load: framing, then sheathing, then trim.'
