A count metric with zero score weight. It is the denominator behind close rate and the input to the confidence gate, and it is the axis that separates 'busy' from 'effective' on the manager's scatter chart.
Also called: lead volume per rep · how many leads did they handle · workload
- 1Counts lead-created events owned by the rep within the window.
- 2Feeds the confidence factor that smooths the Rep Score.
- 3Also used to surface active distribution reps who own nothing yet, so a newly-added rep appears on the board at zero rather than being missing.
Catalog copy is careful not to reward volume for its own sake: 'It's not a quality score on its own — a rep with fewer leads but a higher close rate can out-earn a high-volume rep — but it shows who's putting in the reps.' The long game ties it to routing: 'Pair healthy volume with a strong close rate and you're the rep every owner wants to feed leads to.'
- Low output could not be distinguished from low input.
- Newly-added reps were invisible until their first lead.
