Two cards — a crown for the reigning rep with 'On top for 3 weeks · since Aug 2', and a trophy for the all-time record. When the record belongs to the current reign, the card says so: 'and still going. That's the record!'

- 1Each continuous reign is one row: it opens when a new rep takes #1 and closes when someone overtakes them.
- 2Maintained by the leaderboard endpoint as the board is computed — no cron job.
- 3The 'established' #1 is the top rep who is not provisional, so a new rep with one lucky lead cannot start a reign.
- 4Duration renders in human units: minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, then years to one decimal.
- 5Wrapped so a failure logs a warning and the board still renders.
Migration 112: 'Tracks who has held the #1 spot on the sales leaderboard and for how long. Each row is one continuous reign… Maintained best-effort by the /api/leaderboard route as the board is computed (no cron).' The route's own comment adds the anti-fluke rule about provisional reps.
