Dead Lead View and Bulk Triage

Dead leads leave the board but stay in the system, and a dedicated view lets you audit, bulk-move, nurture or delete the whole cohort.

What it is

Leads graded Dead stay in whatever stage they died in but are hidden from the normal board and excluded from board totals, so a ghosted lead does not inflate Total Deals. A Dead Leads button showing the count flips the board to show only that cohort, with a red action bar offering select-all, bulk move to another stage, Add to Nurture, and bulk delete.

How it works
  1. 1Dead cards are filtered out of every stage unless the Dead Leads toggle or the Dead grade filter is on
  2. 2The stats strip recalculates against the visible cohort, so dead leads never pad Pipeline Value
  3. 3The dead view shows each lead across the stage it died in, so you can see where deals go to die
  4. 4Bulk move bypasses the contract-sent gate because it is triage, not a customer-facing promotion
Why we built it

Dead leads had to leave the board or they buried the live work, but deleting them threw away the record of what had been tried and why. They now leave the board and stay in the system, with a view for auditing, bulk-moving, nurturing or deleting them as a cohort. Filtering that view by Dead Lead originally returned nothing, because the hide ran before the filter did; both now resolve through the same flag. The view also surfaces dead leads that were never assigned, since a lead can be written off before anyone owns it.

The problem
  • Dead leads cluttering a working board
  • Dead deals inflating forecast totals
  • No way to bulk-act on a cohort of dead leads
Sound familiar?
What you get
A working board that only shows live deals
Pipeline Value that reflects deals still in play
Resurrect or retire a hundred dead leads in one action
