Photograph the damage at the tailgate

Per-line photos taken with the rear camera while the pallet is still in front of you, carried onto the claim and into the email.

What it is

When a damaged count is entered, the line offers a camera button that opens the phone's rear camera directly. Photos upload immediately and attach to that line; they are carried onto any damage claim raised from the line, and shown inline in the claim email.

Why we built it

The comments state the timing argument twice: 'Damage photos, per line. Taken at the tailgate, because that is the only moment the evidence exists — and they ride the claim email as links.' And: 'capture="environment" opens the rear camera on a phone — the evidence only exists while the pallet is in front of you.' The reason it matters: 'a claim with evidence gets settled, one without gets argued.'
