What it is

A dictation button beside the description field, using the browser's own speech recognition. Words stream in as you speak; final results are appended to whatever is already there, and the first word of a fresh report is sentence-cased so it doesn't read like a transcript fragment.

Why we built it

Plenty of builders will not file a report at all rather than risk spelling something wrong in front of the people who wrote the software. They know exactly what went wrong and can say it out loud in ten seconds; asking them to type it is the reason the report never gets filed and the problem lives another six months. Hit the mic, describe it, and the words land in the box where they can be tidied up or typed around.
