What it is

A full-screen annotation editor over any attached image with four tools — freehand pen, circle, arrow and a filled block for redacting information — plus undo, redo and a confirmed 'clear all'. Arrows are numbered at their tail so a note can say 'see arrow 3' and mean something.

Why we built it

A screenshot of a busy project screen does not tell anyone which of the forty numbers on it is the wrong one. Circle it, drop an arrow on it or scribble a note, with a finger or a mouse. Arrows are numbered at the tail as they are added, so 'see arrow 3' means something to whoever reads the report. There is a solid block tool too, because no builder should have to choose between showing us the problem and showing us a customer's name, address and price.
