The reschedule page names the current time — 'Currently Tuesday, September 2, 10:00 AM — pick a new time below and we'll move it' — and confirms with 'Moved.' rather than 'You're booked.'

- 2Booking a new slot cancels the old appointment silently with the reason 'Rescheduled by them' and pushes that change to Google.
- 3The new booking sends the normal confirmation, which 'says it all'.

The fingerprint deliberately includes the reschedule target so 'the SAME code comes back in the confirmation and in every later reminder for this appointment — one link the attendee can recognise, not a new one per send.' Suppressing the cancellation email avoids telling someone their meeting is cancelled seconds before telling them it is booked.
