Contract_templates carries attorney_reviewed, attorney_reviewed_at and attorney_reviewed_by (migration 042). The settings panel shows a Reviewed / Not reviewed pill, a reviewer name field, a Mark reviewed action and a Clear escape hatch. saveTemplate sets attorney_reviewed back to false on every body save.
Also called: lawyer reviewed contract · legal review record · counsel sign-off · contract compliance
- 1Admin types the reviewing firm's name and clicks Mark reviewed.
- 2The row stamps the reviewer name and timestamp; the pill turns green.
- 3Any subsequent save of the body writes attorney_reviewed: false, attorney_reviewed_at: null, attorney_reviewed_by: null.
- 4Clear un-marks a review that was ticked in error without editing the body.
From the library comment: 'Tenant-tracked flag set when their attorney has reviewed the body. Auto-cleared when the body is edited (forces re-review).' And in the settings panel: 'Acts as a per-tenant defensible "we had counsel approve this body on this date" record.' The auto-clear is the point — a review stamp that survives an edit is a lie a builder would rely on.
- No record of legal review on the contract in use
- Post-review edits silently invalidating a review that still shows as current
