A modal over an already-sent estimate, sharing the exact panel the send modal used. What differs is only the verb: this one saves, and the customer's existing link picks it up. Resending still lives on the journey pill, so the two never become rival send buttons.
Also called: update the live quote · change the page they already have · no new link
- 1Open What They See from the sent estimate.
- 2Toggle any row on any stage and save.
- 3The customer's existing page reflects it on their next load.
- 4Engine-neutral by construction — it takes a link id and capabilities and knows nothing about which designer produced the estimate.
Changing what a sent estimate shows meant resending it, and a resend resets the conversation — it reads as a new price even when nothing about the price moved. The same switches work three days later, and the change reaches the customer's existing page on their next load, with no resend and no new link. They are the same controls because it is the same decision; only the verb changes.
- Any post-send visibility change requiring a new link and a new email
