A four-card intro — this is your home base, your schedule, photos from your phone, marking milestones complete — plus one extra card for crew leaders (assign tasks, invite workers, track your team) and one for admins (manage crews, invite anyone, edit pipelines, configure permissions). Dot indicators, Back / Next, and Skip at any point.
Also called: welcome screen · first time setup · getting started popup
- 1Opens from an invite link's ?welcome=true parameter or a first-login flag on the user
- 2Dismissing clears the flag on the account and strips the parameter from the URL
- 3Card set is chosen by role, so a worker isn't shown admin tooling
The first person into a crew account is usually a framer standing in a yard on a phone, invited by his boss, who has never seen the software and was told 'download this'. A welcome screen written for an owner at a desk gets closed in two seconds and teaches him nothing. The first sign-in shows a short welcome built for whoever is actually holding the phone — photos straight from the camera and ticking off milestones for the field, crews and invitations for a crew leader, setup and permissions for an admin — and then gets out of the way for good.
- Invited workers landing in an unfamiliar app with no orientation
- Owners fielding the same four questions from every new hire
