Daily throughput

A four-series area chart of leads created, stage moves performed, deals won and projects completed, per day.

What it is

The pace chart. Four gradient-filled areas on one time axis let you see a lead surge landing without a matching rise in stage moves — the shape of a team falling behind. The tooltip lists only the series that were non-zero that day and adds the day's total.

How it works
  1. 1Every lifecycle event is bucketed by UTC date and counted by type.
  2. 2Days with no activity still hold their place on the axis so gaps read as gaps.
  3. 3The tooltip drops zero series and adds a 'Total events' row under a hairline.
Why we built it

The tooltip deliberately 'adds the day total + omits zero series so it never just echoes one line's number' — the house rule that a tooltip must add something the chart could not plot.

The problem
  • Lead volume and lead work were never comparable on one axis.
  • Seasonal swings were invisible without exporting data.
