Counties load as you zoom in, across state lines, so a tri-state junction is picked in one place. Whole-state coverage is a separate chip list. Coverage has two tiers — primary and backup — so one rep can be first choice at home and a backup in a neighbour's area. The last viewport is saved so reopening frames the rep's area.

Assigning territory by typing county names routed leads to the wrong side of the country, because roughly thirty states have a Washington County and nothing distinguished them. Counties are now scoped to their state, so a patch drawn in Illinois no longer quietly covers twenty-nine others. The map is one continuous surface rather than one view per state, so a rep whose territory meets at a tri-state junction is drawn in a single pass instead of three.
