A tenant-facing usage screen showing metered usage per month with the price that applies to that business. It excludes the same bundled-provider traffic the invoice excludes, so what is displayed and what is billed cannot diverge.
Also called: how many texts have I sent · usage this month · my usage · check my charges
- 1Month-bucketed counts are read from the send log for sent messages only.
- 2Prices come from the effective-rate function, so base cost and margin are never exposed.
- 3Current month is included, so usage is visible before the invoice is generated.
A metered line on a monthly invoice that a business cannot see the workings of is a support ticket every month, and a surprising one is a cancellation. Each business can see its own usage month by month — texts, calls, emails, with segment counts and minutes — priced at the rates it is actually charged. The bill then totals something they have already been watching all month.
- Usage only becoming visible when the invoice arrives.
- No historical view of communication spend.
