Plan changes and trial extensions

Move an account between plan tiers or push a trial out by a set number of days, both from the account's Overview with a branded confirmation.

What it is

Two controls on the Plan & Billing card: a plan picker listing every tier with its monthly price, and a day-count input with an Extend trial button. Current plan, monthly price and estimated monthly revenue are shown above them, along with trial end date and days left (or how many days ago it expired).

Also called: change my plan · extend trial · upgrade downgrade · give me more time to try it

How it works
  1. 1Pick a plan; the button stays disabled until the choice differs from the current one.
  2. 2Confirm through a branded dialog — never a native browser confirm.
  3. 3Trial extension takes a positive day count and rejects anything else.
  4. 4Both actions post to the account's own endpoints and refresh the workspace.
Why we built it

Built into the same rework that replaced the 480px slide-out drawer with a full-screen workspace, whose header records the branding rule that shaped these controls: 'Zero native browser UI — ConfirmDialog/ReasonDialog/Select per the branding rule (the old drawer used window.prompt/confirm + <select>).'

The problem
  • Plan and trial changes required a database edit.
  • Native browser prompts made destructive account changes feel like an accident waiting to happen.

What you get
A trial can be extended in the middle of the call that asked for it.
Plan changes are one confirmed click with the price in front of you.
