Two controls on the Plan & Billing card: a plan picker listing every tier with its monthly price, and a day-count input with an Extend trial button. Current plan, monthly price and estimated monthly revenue are shown above them, along with trial end date and days left (or how many days ago it expired).
Also called: change my plan · extend trial · upgrade downgrade · give me more time to try it
- 1Pick a plan; the button stays disabled until the choice differs from the current one.
- 2Confirm through a branded dialog — never a native browser confirm.
- 3Trial extension takes a positive day count and rejects anything else.
- 4Both actions post to the account's own endpoints and refresh the workspace.
Built into the same rework that replaced the 480px slide-out drawer with a full-screen workspace, whose header records the branding rule that shaped these controls: 'Zero native browser UI — ConfirmDialog/ReasonDialog/Select per the branding rule (the old drawer used window.prompt/confirm + <select>).'
- Plan and trial changes required a database edit.
- Native browser prompts made destructive account changes feel like an accident waiting to happen.
