User_signatures holds full_name, signature_image and auto_sign_enabled per (org, user). When present, the counter-sign modal shows a one-click card with the saved signature preview, and the alert banner offers an Auto-Sign shortcut behind one confirmation. Turning auto_sign_enabled off keeps the saved signature but hides the shortcuts.

Migration 181 states the design: 'A builder saves their legal name + drawn signature once (Settings → My Profile), and counter-signing becomes one deliberate click… Per USER, not per org: a signature is a person's, and the counter-signer of record must be the person who clicked.' The banner keeps the lookup live — refetched on a custom event and on window focus — because of a reported inconsistency: ': one tab showed it, another didn't.'
