Three tabs above the sales board: Pipeline, Analytics and Leaderboard. Each heavy view is only mounted while its tab is active, so nothing double-fetches. The tabs are permission-gated — a user with neither permission just sees the board with no extra tabs — and the board is always the default landing tab.
Also called: sales numbers · rep leaderboard · conversion rate · sales reporting
- 1Analytics and Leaderboard mount only while their tab is selected
- 2Each tab is gated on its own permission
- 3If a role change removes the active tab's permission, the board shows rather than an empty screen
- 4The project pipeline gets no sub-tabs at all
Analytics and the leaderboard sat in the top-level menu, which meant reps had to leave the board to see their own numbers — so they mostly did not. Both are now tabs on the sales board itself, and a rep still lands on the board first. Each one only loads while its tab is open, so opening the pipeline does not quietly fetch three screens' worth of data, and a rep with permission for neither simply sees the board with no extra tabs.
- Reporting buried in a separate navigation item nobody opens
- Heavy analytics views loading when nobody is looking at them
- A user landing on a tab their role cannot view
