Write your own notification wording

Rewrite the subject, heading and body of any notification and see the real branded email render with sample values as you type.

What it is

A composer opened from a notification row that edits the wording for that event, at organisation level, personal level, or on behalf of a specific member. It renders the actual branded email with sample values rather than a plain-text approximation, and explains when the email body will be used instead of the short message.

Why we built it

The comment credits for the requirement that the composer render the REAL branded email with sample values, and for stating in the UI when the email body will be used instead. Generic system wording sounds like software; a builder's customers should hear the builder.

The problem
  • Notification copy was fixed and generic.
  • Custom wording could not be previewed in context.
