A composer opened from a notification row that edits the wording for that event, at organisation level, personal level, or on behalf of a specific member. It renders the actual branded email with sample values rather than a plain-text approximation, and explains when the email body will be used instead of the short message.
Also called: customise the message · edit the email text · our own words · message template · custom notification message · change the wording · my own alert text · edit the email

- 3Overrides can be reset back to the default wording.
The comment credits for the requirement that the composer render the REAL branded email with sample values, and for stating in the UI when the email body will be used instead. Generic system wording sounds like software; a builder's customers should hear the builder.
- Notification copy was fixed and generic.
- Custom wording could not be previewed in context.
