The sticky pad header shows the running count. Above the sign button, when sections remain, a brand-tinted notice reads 'Please initial all 13 sections above (4 of 13 done) before signing.' canSign requires allInitialed alongside name, ink and acknowledgment. The counter-sign modal shows the builder the same ratio.

- 1initialedCount counts required sections that have an initial — from live state before signing, from stored section_initials after.
- 2allInitialed is true when the count equals the manifest length (or the manifest is empty).
- 3The builder's counter-sign modal renders 'Client initialed X of Y sections.' with missing slots flagged in the breach colour and the text 'not initialed'.
The read-only renderer takes options for exactly this: the counter-sign view passes label 'Client initialed:', missingText 'not initialed' and a breach-coloured class, so a builder about to counter-sign can see instantly whether any clause was skipped. A missing initial found after counter-signing is a hole in the evidence.
- Partially initialed waivers reaching the builder
- No visible progress through a long initialing flow
- Missing initials invisible at counter-sign time
