Paused and missing form states

A paused lead source stops accepting submissions with an explanation rather than a broken page, and a dead link says the link may be out of date.

What it is

Two branded states. A source that is not active renders a message that the form is not accepting submissions right now and points the visitor at the builder by name. An unresolvable source key renders a plain this-form-does-not-exist message.

The paused card reading 'This form isn't accepting submissions right now' with the builder's name. src/app/f/[sourceKey]/page.tsx. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Source status is checked after branding resolves, so the paused message still names the builder
  2. 2A missing source or one of the wrong kind renders the not-found state
  3. 3Both states use the same light page shell as the form
Why we built it

A builder pausing intake through a busy season had no way to do it except delete the form, which left prospects on a browser error and any ad spend landing on nothing. A paused form stops accepting and explains why, with the builder's branding intact. Turning intake back on is a switch, not a rebuild.

The problem
  • Pausing intake producing broken pages
  • Stale links from old ads and printed material erroring out
