Availability — the only hours a booking link may offer

Per person: which days, what hours, what slot length and which timezone — with existing appointments and connected Google events always blocked on top.

What it is

Defaults are Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, 30-minute slots. Each meeting type has its own duration — a demo is 45 minutes, a discovery call 30 — so the slot grid is built from the type being booked, not a fixed size.

The Availability dialog: day toggles, start and end times, slot length, timezone. platform/calendar/page.tsx. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Availability is stored per person and read whenever slots are computed.
  2. 2Only the owner or the person themselves may read or write a given person's availability.
  3. 3Slots start no sooner than two hours from now.
  4. 4Wall-clock times are converted to real instants against the host's timezone without any date library.
Why we built it

The UI states the contract: 'The only hours a booking link or a Reschedule button will offer. Existing appointments and your Google events are always blocked on top of this.' Per-type durations exist because offering a 30-minute slot for a 45-minute demo would double-book the host.

The problem
  • Booking links offering hours nobody works
  • Fixed slot lengths mismatched to the meeting
