Run first sync

One button that proves the credentials and pipeline ids are right by pulling fresh counts of contacts and opportunities, in milliseconds.

What it is

A confirmation action shown only once the connection is credentialed and pipelines are configured. It reports contacts, sales opportunities and project opportunities as three tiles plus the elapsed time, then explains that cards land through the normal sync on the next page load.

Also called: test the connection · did it work · import my contacts · backfill

The First sync block with the Run first sync button and the three result tiles (Contacts / Sales opps / Project opps). Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Run first sync posts to the backfill endpoint, which validates the saved credentials by counting contacts and opportunities on both pipelines.
  2. 2Success renders the three counts; failure renders the error inline.
  3. 3The section hides itself entirely unless connected and configured.
Why we built it

The comment states the purpose: it 'gives the admin instant confirmation that the wiring is right' rather than leaving them to wait and see whether cards appear. Setup steps whose success is only observable much later get abandoned halfway.

The problem
  • Integration setup gave no immediate proof it had worked.

What you get
Wiring is verified in a second instead of over an afternoon.
A bad token or wrong pipeline id surfaces during setup, not during a workday.
