What it is

Shortcuts over the addition model: Enclosed wing adds a 16ft-deep enclosed lean-to attached at the main eave with a 4/12 pitch; Wrap adds two enclosed 12ft legs on adjoining walls and selects the first so its handles are live.

How it works
  1. 1Both build on the same AdditionSpec, so they inherit clamping, foundation treatment, takeoff lines and handles with no separate code path.
  2. 2Enclosed additions are sheeted on the outboard column line.
  3. 3Each leg is clamped independently against the shell.
Why we built it

A wraparound porch or an enclosed wing is two additions that have to agree with each other at the corner, and building them by hand every time is both friction and precisely the shape that comes out wrong. Each is a single choice that places both halves already reconciled. An enclosed wing is walled and doored like the main building while a porch stays open — a distinction that matters because the two are ordered and priced as different things.
