Distribution Simulator

Watch simulated leads drop into each rep's column one by one so you can confirm the split matches what you meant before you save.

What it is

A visual what-if that drops N incoming leads into rep columns and animates the ratio playing out, for both routing models. Weighted mix splits proportionally across everyone with the top tier taking the majority. Strict tiers gives the lowest tier every lead until it caps, then spills. Clicking a rep's column edits their tier and weight inline and the edits flow back to the settings drafts.

How it works
  1. 1Uses the same tier multiplier as the engine (tier 1 pulls about 4x a tier-3 rep)
  2. 2The effective per-day throttle shown is the daily cap, falling back to the open cap, then the default
  3. 3Model choice is persisted with the settings
  4. 4Inline tier and weight edits update the rep cards so they stay in sync
Why we built it

Routing rules are a set of numbers, and the only way to find out what they actually did was to save them and watch live leads land on the wrong desks. Simulated leads now drop into each rep's column one at a time, so an owner can watch the ratio play out and confirm it matches what they meant before saving. Both models are shown honestly, including the part people do not expect: with strict tiers, lower tiers can sit at zero until the top tier is full.

The problem
  • Routing rules that only reveal themselves after they run on real leads
  • Weights and tiers being abstract numbers
  • Choosing between routing models blind
