The visibility map that actually ships with the send

The section map frozen into the customer's snapshot is derived from the controls rather than typed beside them, so every switch a builder flips actually leaves the modal.

What it is

A derived map instead of a hand-maintained list of keys. The whole override map ships and stays sparse by design — only keys the builder deliberately flipped — so every absent key falls through to the org defaults the portal merges at render time.

How it works
  1. 1The snapshot's sections map is composed from the legacy quote-tab flags, then the deliberate What They See choices on top.
  2. 2Two rows the customer page reads under both an old and a new name get both keys.
  3. 3Sparse by construction, so Settings → Client Portal keeps meaning something for untouched estimates.
Why we built it

The list of sections that shipped with a send was typed out by hand and named nine of them, so every other visibility switch was silently dropped on the way out: sales tax, financing, the entire services section, the trust strip, the warranty, the FAQ. A builder could switch a row off, watch nothing change on the customer's page, and have no way of telling whether the control was broken or the page was. It was the control — the value never left the screen. What ships is now derived from the switches themselves, so a switch that exists is a switch that travels with the send.
