A switchable footer block on the live dashboard carrying the builder's contact details, with a call action. The rule is stated in the code as: no Business Info phone, no button, never a fallback.
Also called: call my builder · who do I ring · contact footer
- 1The business phone is read from the config endpoint for this link's org
- 2The call button renders only when that value is non-empty
- 3The block is gated by the dash:contact key
The Call button on a customer's own project dashboard dialled the customer's own number, because it read the phone field straight off the job record. Contact details come from the builder's business settings on every customer surface now. The quote had been corrected months earlier and the dashboard was missed, which is how a customer ends up ringing themselves to ask about their build.
- A contact action pointing at the wrong number
- No obvious route to the builder from the live project page
