Contacts, team, suppliers and contractors in one place

Tabs split the address book into customers, tasks, team, leaders, members, suppliers and contractors — and one person can be in more than one.

What it is

The contacts list is bucketed by tab. Each bucket brings its own detail panel: suppliers get purchase orders and agreements, contractors get crew linkage and labour setup, crew entries get their own view. A person can be both a sales contact and a supplier, and the panel you see follows the tab rather than a mutually exclusive flag.

How it works
  1. 1listTab selects the active list; each has its own filter and its own add form
  2. 2Adding from a tab stamps the right stage marker (_supplier, _contractor, _team) or new_lead
  3. 3SupplierDetailPanel, ContractorDetailPanel and the crew renderer swap into the detail rail per bucket
  4. 4A contact flagged as a supplier shows a jump control from the Contacts tab
Why we built it

One flat address book forced every person into a single identity, but the same lumber yard contact is a supplier on purchase orders and a person you have conversations with, and a crew lead can be both team and contractor. Forcing the choice meant supplier work sat behind customer chrome and half the address book was filed wrong. Tabs now split customers, team, leaders, members, suppliers and contractors, and one person can appear in more than one.
