Address sits with phone and email as core information, edited the same way, and is stored as four separate fields rather than one free-text line.
Also called: customer address · site address · where is the build · add an address
- 1Four inputs (street / city / state / zip) rather than one line
- 2Edited inline exactly like phone and email
- 3The permit check matches CITY and STATE against the jurisdiction table
The job address is what permits, drive time and delivery all hang off, and it was not among the core details a rep could see or fix on the contact. Storing it as one free-text line would have meant parsing it back apart later, and a wrong guess there silently moves a building into the wrong jurisdiction — which surfaces as a failed inspection, not a typo. Street, city, state and zip are separate editable fields, changed the same way a phone number or a name is.
- Addresses reachable only through the lead form
- Free-text addresses that break jurisdiction matching
