Close rate

Out of the leads a rep works, the share that turn into signed builds — the heaviest input to the Rep Score.

What it is

Wins divided by leads worked, per rep, over the window. Sixty percent of the Rep Score. The tooltip never shows the bare percentage: it reads 'won 5 of 14 leads (36%)' so the denominator is always in view.

Also called: conversion rate · leads that become jobs · win percentage · how many leads do we close

The 'Close Rate' metric card: horizontal bars per rep, your bar in teal, labels formatted as percentages, your rank chip top-right. MetricCard in LeaderboardView.tsx. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1leads worked = lead-created events owned by that rep in the range.
  2. 2won = status changes to 'won' on their leads.
  3. 3conversion_rate = won ÷ leadsWorked × 100, null when they have worked nothing.
  4. 4Sample size behind the metric is carried separately so the tooltip can cite it.
Why we built it

The catalog copy: 'This is the scoreboard. A rep who closes 25 out of 100 leads is worth far more than one who closes 10 — same leads, very different revenue for the company and commission for you.' And the long game: 'Everything else on this board exists to lift this one number… A 5-point jump in close rate, held all year, is the difference between a good year and a great one.'

The problem
  • Close rate was never calculated per person on real data.
  • Percentages were quoted without the counts behind them.

What you get
The number that pays the bills is measured automatically per rep.
Always shown with its raw counts, so it can't be misread.
