What it is

Four read-only rows: Roof Steel, Wall Steel, Trim and Wainscot, each with a colour chip and its name, taken from the buildingFinishes block on the snapshot. They display rather than pick because they are design decisions already made and priced.

Why we built it

Customers were looking at three white hardware swatches and nothing at all about the roof or the walls, while the estimate beside it named a burnished slate roof and the model rendered exactly that. The finishes the builder specified — roof, wall, trim and wainscot — are shown on the quote as read-only. They remain the builder's call, but the buyer should not have to ask what colour their building is.
