Images arriving by MMS are recognised, deduplicated and gathered into a Photos block in the contact's detail panel, newest first, alongside the thread where they also appear inline. A gallery view swipes through all of a contact's photos. Dead assets (the upstream URL has expired) drop out rather than sitting there as broken tiles.

Once a customer relationship has a few weeks of messages in it, finding the photo they texted of the site access or the damaged panel means scrolling past everything else to get to it. Every image texted to the builder's number is now filed into a Photos section on the contact with a swipeable gallery. An image whose file is no longer retrievable drops out of the gallery rather than sitting there as a broken tile.
