Today — what needs a hand right now

A strip of tiles across the agency's home — unclaimed leads, uncontacted leads, calls and demos today, proposals out, stalled signups, accounts waiting to be provisioned, onboardings stuck, accounts at risk, deals going cold, and your own tasks due today.

What it is

Each tile carries a count, a one-line explanation, an urgency tone and a link to where the work is. Tiles with nothing in them stay hidden. The tasks tile shows how many are due today and how many are overdue, and links into the agency task section.

The five-across tile row with urgent tiles in red and the tasks tile showing an overdue count. TodayStrip.tsx. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1One call returns every tile's data; empty tiles are filtered out before rendering.
  2. 2Hovering a tile shows the first eight names behind the count.
  3. 3With nothing outstanding the strip says 'all clear — nothing is waiting on you'.
Why we built it

The header states the discipline: 'Every tile clicks into where the work is. Tiles with nothing in them stay quiet — the strip is a to-do, not a dashboard.'

The problem
  • Dashboards that report rather than direct
  • Work sitting unowned because nobody could see it
