Chapters: a lead arrives · call your lead & log it · build the estimate · send the estimate · approval, release & the customer's legal info · contract generated, signed, counter-signed · signed → sold · hand off to project management · schedule, crew & first invoice. Chapters that need a lead on the board seed a clearly-badged demo lead first and remove it afterwards.
Also called: lead to sale training · sales process walkthrough · how a lead becomes a job
- 1Each chapter is an independently launchable tutorial that also carries its campaign index
- 2Steps bind to the seeded demo card so the tour speaks about a specific lead by name
- 3Customer-side beats (approving the estimate, filling in the intake form) are taught as explainer cards, because they happen on the customer's own portal
- 4Actions with real side effects (a real SmartBuild write, a real send) are explained rather than clicked
The first version of this campaign taught builders to build an estimate inside the dashboard. Builders don't — they design the structure in SmartBuild, pull it back in, put a name and an employee against it, and only then does it reach the board. Teaching a workflow nobody uses is worse than teaching nothing: the first person to follow it hit a screen that didn't match what they'd been told and stopped trusting the rest of it. The nine chapters now follow one lead the way it really moves, on a clearly badged practice lead seeded onto the real board and removed when you're done.
- Every rep inventing their own version of the sales process
- Owners re-explaining the same nine steps to every new hire

Twenty minutes, your numbers, no slide deck. We’ll build one of your real buildings in front of you and send you the estimate link at the end — yours to keep either way.
