See your customer's screens from inside the app

Six pixel-faithful stand-ins for the customer's screens — portal sign-in, estimate, details form, contract signing, live dashboard, invoice — rendered inside the app with no network calls.

What it is

Static replicas of the client-facing surfaces, all driven by one shared set of demo data. They mount full-viewport beneath the tour spotlight, stay mounted across consecutive steps that use the same screen, and swap when the screen changes. The contract replica even includes a working signature pad and tap-to-initial; the dashboard has a photo lightbox.

Carousel of the six replicas; linger on the contract signing screen with the signature pad and the 'tap to initial' sections filling in. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Screens: portal-signin, estimate, intake, contract, dashboard, invoice (DemoCustomerSurface host)
  2. 2Every replica is wrapped in data-theme="light" — customer-facing surfaces are always light mode, house rule
  3. 3No fetches, no database, no portal tokens: the data is a fixed demo spine, so there is zero loading and nothing to clean up
  4. 4Interactive: the spotlight cutout lets you actually click the replica's controls
Why we built it

Builders had no safe way to see what their customer sees. Opening a real portal link mid-lesson means leaving the app, waiting on a load, and having a real customer's job sitting on the other end to look at. Six stand-ins — sign-in, estimate, details form, contract signing, live project dashboard, invoice — match the customer's real screens and run inside the app on made-up data, so the tab never changes and nothing is sent, saved or charged.

The problem
  • No safe way to preview customer-facing screens without creating real records
  • Tours that would have to leave the app to show the other side
