A row of day toggles rendered Monday-first with a summary line ('Mon–Fri', 'Mon, Wed, Fri', 'Every day'). The only difference between the three levels it serves is whether an 'inherit' option is offered.
Also called: choose working days · which days do you work
- 1WEEK_ORDER renders Monday first because that is how a work week reads
- 2describeWorkingDays() collapses contiguous runs into a range and otherwise lists the days
- 3Toggling off the last remaining day is a no-op rather than an error to explain later
Setting a working week behind a dropdown meant the setting was only correct if someone opened it — a crew mistakenly on a six-day week looked identical to one on five until you clicked in, so wrong weeks went unnoticed for months and quietly bent every schedule they touched. Seven labelled day buttons show the whole week at once, so a Saturday that is switched on is visible without opening anything.
- A dropdown hiding the very thing the setting exists to show
