An edge-faded scrolling rail of icon-plus-text items. Each item declares a source: static text, an auto count of completed buildings, an auto years-in-business figure from a start year, or a manual number. Hovering pauses it and reduced-motion users get a static wrapped layout instead.
Also called: licensed and insured banner · buildings completed counter · years in business
- 1Items come from portal_defaults.trust_strip, falling back to factory defaults
- 2A {n} token in the text is replaced with the resolved number
- 3The buildings count is live-computed unless a manual override is set
- 4Six identical copies are rendered and translated by 50% for a seamless loop
Builders were retyping "serving the valley since 1998" and their job count into a quote template, and the numbers went stale the moment somebody forgot to bump them. The strip counts them from the builder's own record instead. It fades at both edges, because a marquee that hard-cuts mid-word at the viewport edge reads as a broken page rather than a moving one.
- Credibility claims stale-dating on a static template
- Quotes with no trust signal at all
