Today's crew (leader view)

A crew leader sees his own crew as a list of names with two facts each: on the clock since when, or hours already done today.

What it is

For leaders only, the portal adds a roster of their crew showing each person's open shift elapsed time or hours closed out today, with a clock button beside anyone who is not themselves. It is scoped strictly to the leader's own crew.

The Today's Crew card: four names, green 'On the clock' subtext on two, grey 'Not clocked in' on one, with outlined Clock in / Clock out buttons at the right. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1crewMates() reads the shared roster filtered to the leader's crew, then today's time entries for every id those people are known under.
  2. 2Each row shows 'On the clock · 2h 40m', 'Done · 8h today', or 'Not clocked in'.
  3. 3The leader's own row is marked (you) and carries no button, because his own action is the big button at the top.
  4. 4The id used for each person is the one their own link would carry, so clocking them from here writes the rows their phone would.
Why we built it

A crew leader could not tell whether his men were logging their hours until payroll came round and the gaps showed up. He opens his own link to a roster of his crew with two facts beside each name: on the clock or not, and hours so far. It is his crew only — a leader is not an admin and has no business reading another crew's hours from a link that lives on his phone. Showing a man who is on the clock as not clocked in is the one wrong answer this screen must never give, because the next tap opens a second shift for one man.

The problem
  • Missing time discovered a week late instead of the same morning.
  • Leaders having no visibility without admin rights.
  • Duplicate shifts opened by a mismatch between two ids for the same person.

What you get
A leader fixes missing hours the same day, on site.
No cross-crew data on a phone that lives in someone's pocket.
