It will not schedule a nudge into the past

A due time already gone is refused, and so is an offset that would put the reminder before now — with the reason said out loud instead of silently corrected.

What it is

Three guards: the date picker disables past dates; a due moment more than a minute old is refused; and a reminder that would land in the past is refused with 'shrink the offset or move the due date'. Quick add flags an explicitly-stated past moment rather than moving it.

How it works
  1. 1Submit checks new Date(when) against now with a 60-second grace, and separately checks the computed remind moment.
  2. 2Quick add rolls a bare past time forward to tomorrow, but flags an explicit past date/time combination as past.
  3. 3A day chosen with no time blocks the save until a time is picked — nothing downstream runs until the user has chosen one.
Why we built it

The composer states the principle: 'A reminder scheduled before "now" would never fire; clamp forward is dishonest, so say it instead.' The quick-add parser carries the same standing rule: 'an EXPLICIT past moment ("july 4 9am") is flagged, never silently moved.'
